Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.
You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.

The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers. All our wines have been made following low intervention organic/biodynamic practices. We also pour many local naturally made ciders and perrys. Our soft drinks are made in house showcasing seasonal cordials, and aperitif/digestif offerings can bookend your meal if desired.

Delicious meal as always, celebrating our anniversary. The service was amazing, cheese fritters ‘to die for’ and good wine recommendations. The turbot was cooked to perfection. Just a wonderful dining experience with a relaxed and calm vibe. Thanks Upstairs!

Have always wanted to go to the restaurant having previously enjoyed the great bakes at the cafe on the ground floor - I wasn't disappointed - thoroughly enjoyed the food as well as the overall ambience of the place. Bear in mind this restaurant is best enjoyed as a 'sharing' experience vs a standard restaurant.

Absolutely exceptional as always. Particular highlights for me were the tagliatelle with courgettes, and the turbot head.

Very good food, great service, reasonable prices. You cannot beat that. This is a “locals” restaurant which is a good thing. It is located upstairs over the Landrace Bakery, which is an even better thing because the bread is best I have ever had, This is a great find. The food is terrific, the staff is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Upstairs at Landrace.

Overpriced, not worth it, food was simply awful, salty and oily, host was slightly aggressive.

Slightly awkward to get to, but delightfully genuine bistro feel; staff knowledgable and friendly, food sourced locally, unusual and mostly organic wine list.

I had been wanting to come here for quite some time and it lived up to everything I had heard. I need to return ASAP with a few others so we can order everything on the menu. Staff were friendly and accommodating. If you’re visiting Bath or passing through make sure to book a table here.
