I would not have gone if i knew they were not honoring the HRW menu on weekends. Service was poor and slow. Our appetizer arrived with our entree. It was so loud we could barely hear each other. We didn't bother ordering dessert. The only good thing i can say is that the fried pork chop was tasty.

The majority of the food (everything except the cornbread muffin) was excellent. The service was exceptional, too. I love the Soulfood plate. It is my favorite meal - just the right amount of everything.

Great staff. Great for food. But hated that the wine bar did not have jazz or separate music that went with the ambience.

The service was absolutely terrible. Dined here for restaurant week. The server was slow and was not accommodating. Waited way too long for drinks and food. Our desserts didn’t include icecream as stated on the menu. Spoke to the manager and she wasnt familiar with house items! Was also over charged for our dirty rice. I wont ever ever dine here again! A waste of money and time!

It was a nice experience. Food was good. Gravy was a little too thick but still good. The cabbage was the best side!!! & the sweet tea is SWEET, just like I like it. 7.5/10

Gumbo was ok and the shrimp was cooked nice and crispy. Chicken fried chicken was way overcooked and dry. The amount of sauces on everything was overpowering and way too much. Needs to be cut back to enjoy more of the food.
