Our location set in the heart of Fountain Square features a small-batch brewery for tinkering & barrel-aging, 22 beers on tap & a locally-focused menu of spirited pub classics & vegetarian cuisine. Sip small batch innovations before they hit it big time out on the patio while perusing our menu. Spring to Fall, our immense patio is the ideal place to enjoy our craft. Well-behaved dogs welcome outside.

With the Cultural Trail just a block away, we’re accessible by car, bike, foot, or Red Line. Drop into our on-site bike shop, run by Gray Goat Bicycle Co. & grab a beer while you wait for a tune-up. We’re a neighborhood spot with a global reputation — and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got brewing.

An enjoyable dinner. Devour Indy 2024 menu @ $32.50 per couple. Reasonable choices and very good food and service.

This was my first time trying Upland & it did not disappoint. We had a party of 6 & there was plenty of room for us. We made a reservation earlier in the week which I was super happy to find. The menus are easy to read & pretty versatile. There is something for everyone with gluten free & vegetarian options. For the meat lovers out there: their beef is local from Jasper, IN. Most of us had drinks including nonalcoholic beer. The cocktails were hit or miss. Some were mixed too strong & others were yummy, so beware it may be a gamble. The service was OK, we had a newer server, so we were waiting for her for awhile at times during our time there. Overall we were patient and understand what it's like when you are starting a new job & she did a great job! I will definitely be going back. HIGHLIGHTS: the Whipped Feta appetizer & the Goat & Fig Burger.

Service and food were excellent! We had the bison egg rolls which were devine, and shared the sweet plum burger with fries. We will be back!

Service was just ok, food was hit or miss. French fries and fish and chips were a 3 . Salmon sandwich was a 1 very fishy could only eat 1/2 do to fishy flavor and I love salmon. Eggrolls were good but too salty, turkey guac sandwich tasteless. Ordered two mixed drinks onw was so bad it had to be sent back, the other was subpar but drank anyway, First time at Upland will Also be last time.

Lovely place with ample parking in a walkable neighborhood. Food and beers always fresh tasting.

We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty loud in the restaurant. They have outdoor seating, but this was a very hot day and we wanted to be inside. It wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear each other - just lots of background noise. The food and the service were wonderful and the overall ambience of the restaurant is great.

This was not my first time at Upland Fountain square but by far the worst experience. I was seated with a party of 7 and waited 15 minutes without even being greeted for drink orders. I flagged a server down and she found that we were never assigned anyone. She took over and we waited another 20 minutes for drinks to arrive. We ordered food more than 45 minutes after arriving. While waiting on food another 45 minutes at least two tables seated after us were finished eating. To top it off when my burger finally arrived it wasn’t even cooked in the middle. Took over 2 hours for mediocre food.
