Our ever popular steak night continues every Wednesday, with a £30 menu for three seasonal courses, always featuring a 40 day aged Aberdeen Angus steak.

Enjoy the best roast chicken around every Thursday night at Updown, in our beautiful dining room set amid rambling grounds. Dine under the grape vines and watch the chefs in the open kitchen cooking whole roast chickens in our huge wood oven. The three course menu always has a seasonal starter, roast chicken to share, and a dessert option, for £30. Max Rocha will celebrate the launch of his new book by bringing a taste of Café Cecilia to Deal. This beloved neighbourhood-style bistro has been a hit since the day it opened and we’re thrilled to have Max joining us in the kitchen at Updown. Serving up seasonally inspired dishes using local Kent produce, Max has written a menu that brings bold flavours and rustic charm.
