L'Union Oyster House, situé sur le Freedom Trail, près de Faneuil Hall, jouit de la particularité unique d'être le plus ancien restaurant de l'Amérique. Ce commerce bostonnais, situé dans un bâtiment datant de l'époque d'avant la Révolution américaine, a commencé à servir des aliments en 1826 et continue à garnir ses étals et son bar à huîtres, dans le lieu même où Daniel Webster était un client régulier.

Our waitress was friendly and helpful however; the food was just okay and pricey. However, it was fun to dine at a location filled with so much history.

Long service time, very average on the food. Really expected more given the reputation. Clam chowder tasted like Campbells Chunky Clam Chowder with some sand added. Oysters were great though.

Every time we come to Boston, we must go to the z union Oyster House. We always have raw oysters-superb! I have the lobster roll-excellent! Huge pieces of lobster with an excellent sauce. My husband loves the clam chowder. Delicious! They serve cornbread that is delicious too. You must make reservations-it’s always busy.

I had my first dining experience at this restaurant in Oct 2024. I made a reservation online through OpenTable...super easy process. They gave my party a wonderful table in the Freedom Trail Room. It's no wonder why this is the oldest restaurant in the U.S....with great food, reasonable prices, quaint dining area, historic decor and friendly staff...they have it all! I will be back for my second dining experience soon!

This was an iconic restaurant that was suggested to us to try. I’m so glad that we did because the food was very good. Would definitely eat here again
