L'Union Oyster House, situé sur le Freedom Trail, près de Faneuil Hall, jouit de la particularité unique d'être le plus ancien restaurant de l'Amérique. Ce commerce bostonnais, situé dans un bâtiment datant de l'époque d'avant la Révolution américaine, a commencé à servir des aliments en 1826 et continue à garnir ses étals et son bar à huîtres, dans le lieu même où Daniel Webster était un client régulier.

Everything my sister and I ate was amazing. Staff was great and our waiter was awesome. I would highly recommend this place is historic but the food is totally worth getting through Boston traffic.

Food was enjoyable, having intentional simplicity and charm. The ambiance felt proper for a 200 year old restaurant. The server was fantastic and knew his lines. Only issue was we felt very rushed to leave so they could fill the table again. If not for that experience it would have been 5/5.

If it wasn’t for the fact that it is a place of historical significance, I would tell you to save the time and go someplace else. The food was fair but the fact that it is a part of our history is what made it worth the effort. I won’t go back, been there and checked that box.

Great location, the History was out of the world. Felt food was ok. The Clam Chowder was great. House made Bloody Mary was 👎🏾.

Scallops were rubbery, beans weren’t much different than a can from the store. The warm apple crisp was 3 spoonfuls!

Excellent meal in a historic restaurant. We enjoyed salmon, sole, fried seafood platter, and raviolis. The clam chowder was the best I’ve had all summer. When I had called beforehand for vegetarian options, I was told they were very limited, salads, baked potatoes, and chef always had mushroom ravioli available. Unfortunately our server said they never had mushroom ravioli, only cheese, which filled our need.

The food was pretty good but it comes in very small portions. The veggie of the day was overcooked and soggy carrots. I was expecting something more delicious for the price tag. Stick to chowder and oysters. They are delicious. The ambiance is very fun and touristy.

Tourist trap. They want you in and out quickly, so service was mediocre at best. Pretty sure I could get amazing clam chowder somewhere else in Boston.

Food was delicious and wonderful. Excellent service. So happy we made reservations to experience such a historic restaurant. Would highly recommend!
