Union & Finch is an American style bistro located at 1528 West Union Street in Allentown offering lunch, dinner and brunch on weekends. The menu consists of casual fare that will include "comfort" foods along with familiar favorites with a twist. We have a seasonal rotation of select items on the menu while keeping our concept simple. Our goal is to offer quality food and drinks at reasonable prices on a daily basis with a mature sense of hospitality and playful vibe. We combine the nostalgia of a long-lost neighborhood joint with a modern bistro setting to create the area’s newest destination for relaxed, casual dining.

Bar service always seems slow when we’re seated in the patio area. Specifically ordered drinks to be brought with our meal when we placed our food order. Drinks arrived after dinner was finished. Placed reservation for a 78th birthday and made specific mention of the occasion twice in Open Table. Restaurant did nothing. Not even a mention of “Happy Birthday” by staff. Food was decent but overall a disappointing experience.

The brunch was delicious, with lots to choose from. We sat outside in the heated "greenhouse" area. It was plenty warm. The music a bit loud at times, though, while we were trying to have a conversation. It was a very busy Saturday morning there. Happy to get a spot in the parking lot. Always a great choice no matter the time of day. Make a reservation!

Always a great experience. Food is top notch. Do yourself a favor and visit them, especially for brunch.

I love this place because of it's Gluten free option, its staff and how good the food is. we have been here several times. I love the Grilled chicken sandwich with jalapenos, mustard aioli, gluten free bun and gluent tree ff, they have a dedicated fryer and are very serious about gluten free food. we usually go during the week, this time was on a Saturday and I have to say the noise level was crazy, place was crowded, service was still great, but very hard to talk to people at table, and I have hearing problem. we were there at 1pm, next time will try later. Also I suggest reservations, which we always do

U&F is my go-to for “girls night out”. We really enjoy Burger & Beer Thursday (the burgers are delish), but I try to mix it up. Tonight we had the Cold Brew Martini and London Fog and they were both good. The London Fog was really balanced with just the right amount of gin. Typically have the Cheese Curds or Brussels Sprouts as our shared app. Love ‘em both. Tried the Crab Po Boy tonight and it was really tasty. Also recommend the Cuban and Fish n Chips. Though I could easily polish off my fries I always save half to use as home fries for breakfast the next morning. The fabric ceiling squares really helped absorb sound so it’s much easier to carry on a conversation in the dining area now. Definitely appreciated that!
