Drawing inspiration from singular St. Louis culinary traditions, the menu brings together comfort food and innovation for creative takes on hometown favorites. Music was too loud. Food was amazing. Waiter was great. Not a lot of places to eat downtown, so this place was an unexpected and delightful surprise

Perfect spot to meet before a downtown St Louis event! It helped that we were staying in the hotel Union 30 is a part of. 😉

Restaurant is inside a hotel. The restaurant itself is nice. The staff was very good. The menu is a little thin, especially for foodies. On a Friday nite at 7pm, we were one of only 3 tables in use in the whole place. The problem is the surrounding downtown St Louis area has become somewhat desolate. Too many boarded up buildings laced with graffiti. If the area is not a concern for you, the restaurant is worth a try.

So disappointed-prime rib was tough and not medium ( no one got correct temperature on steaks). Side was asparagus and got 2 spears.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food, although somewhat limited selection (only black coffee for breakfast, no cappuccinos or lattes).
