Established in 2003, we are a unique restaurant opposite the Hastings Aquarium. Come and visit us for great fresh food!

Please note that in order to maintain social distancing between tables and to try to keep all our diners happy we cannot guarantee that requests for tables in particular areas of the restaurant will be accommodated.

Please note that buggies, pushchairs, strollers, prams etc. will not be permitted inside the restaurant unless they are folded and can be stored so as to not obstruct the free movement of staff and diners.

Bookings for 5 or more people should be made directly to the restaurant.

Unbelievably good! Our meals were out of this world. I don’t like fish but my husband made me try his, well I do eat fish now!!! The halibut was incredible, I’ve never tasted anything like it. We will definitely be back.

Great little find with an excellent menu and good value wines. Table not ready on arrival and although we were offered drinks, an order was never taken. Overall though, a great lunch.

The food was amazing so fresh if you love fish this place is a must ! Staff are welcoming and attentive will definitely be back !

We had a late lunch about 3:30pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was quite quiet, which was good, as we had the table by the open window. Nice to watch the world go by. We started with pre-lunch drinks, prosseco for my wife, and a small and interesting beer for me. We both had mussels in a cream and white wine sauce. They were extremely good. I had a large glass of sauvignon blanc with them, which was good. We shared a sticky toffee pudding, which was very good. A very enjoyable meal. Would definitely use again, when in the area.

Absolutely outstanding food and service! Couldn’t have wanted any better. Food is fresh and nothing is too much trouble. Service was amazing, all by herself but handled it with ease. Honestly one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

My friend and I had a really fab meal at Undercliffe House. The fish was very tasty and superbly cooked. It came with a good salad too. The wine was elegant and complemented the fish. The service was faultless. A really enjpyable evening...Thank you. I'll be back.

What a fantastic little restaurant! We sat adjacent to an open window (it was a beautiful day), and enjoyed people-watching while we chomped down on the gorgeous food. The service was also excellent, and having just moved into the area, this will definitely be one of our favourite places to visit. Would highly recommend.

The only thing that let the experience down was our main course was brought to the table straight after the starter. There should have been time between the two courses. Overall the food was good!
