UnDefined has been changing the way people think about dining out in Hamilton. Voted one of Hamilton's best all-around restaurants for 2021, 2022, 2023, we are making a big impact on King William Street. With an evolving, seasonal and whimsical approach, our passion is what drives us every day. We strive to push the limits, and for our team, it is just what we love to do. We cook from scratch because that is just the way it should be. We love to challenge the way we all think about dining out.

We believe that there is no reason to put yourself in a box when going out with friends, so we do not do that here. Whether it is a night out with friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just something extraordinary, We are not afraid to take the familiar and turn it into something memorable. If it tastes good, we will put it on a plate, in a glass, or whatever. Our mantra is as simple as eat, drink, and enjoy!

Delicious food and drinks! Service was good but very slow. It took 25 mins to get a latte and a drink. Took over an hour to receive the food. Would have liked the music to be a tad lower (for a Sunday). I would love to give this place a try again.

It was a beautiful day for lunch on the patio. Wild boar dumplings were yummy. Adobo pork belly sandwich was good with a salad. Malaysian Crispy chicken lacked flavour, fries were ok. Cocktail was delish. A bit pricey for lunch, $100+. Best part of our first dining experience here was chatting with our server Dharma. She was friendly, and very personable. Great service, thanks Dharma!!

We booked an early reservation because there was a festival going on in Hamilton this weekend. Undefined was busy but they have ample serving staff and the wait time for food was completely acceptable. My son had the hanger steak which he loved, I had the pork belly which was fantastic as always, And our other guest had the gnocchi. All the meals were presented very well, and the taste was delicious. Our server, Amanda, spent plenty of time with us, and other servers, including Kate were friendly and helpful. Chris, the chef, came by our table to say hello, and Megan also made sure everything was fine, we will definitely be back!

We absolutely LOVED this place! Food is excellent as is the service. The team is very attentive and the vibe is great. Highly recommend sitting at the bar to enjoy watching the kitchen and bartender making drinks. An absolute must.

I had their salmon and my husband had their burger. Both were excellent. I didn't enjoy the strawberry crumbley as, I wanted a crunchy top.

My husband and I went to Undefined for our 8th anniversary and we had a wonderful experience. We loved the vibe of the restaurant and mostly the food was amazing. We started with the Balsamic Roast Beet and Hummus as an appetizer. It was fresh and creamy. We both had the Butcher's Cut Hanger Steak that left us wanting for more. The meat was perfectly cooked at our taste and all the sauces that accompanied it well balanced. The plate was worth to be licked! Dessert was also amazing, dark chocolate terrine that was perfect to share for two. We will come back definitely with friends and family :) Thank you!

The service was great they also introduced every food we ordered, but the food is like average. The cinnamon French toast was too sweet for us and steak was salty. But the price was not that expensive.
