UnDefined has been changing the way people think about dining out in Hamilton. Voted one of Hamilton's best all-around restaurants for 2021, 2022, 2023, we are making a big impact on King William Street. With an evolving, seasonal and whimsical approach, our passion is what drives us every day. We strive to push the limits, and for our team, it is just what we love to do. We cook from scratch because that is just the way it should be. We love to challenge the way we all think about dining out.

We believe that there is no reason to put yourself in a box when going out with friends, so we do not do that here. Whether it is a night out with friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just something extraordinary, We are not afraid to take the familiar and turn it into something memorable. If it tastes good, we will put it on a plate, in a glass, or whatever. Our mantra is as simple as eat, drink, and enjoy!

Wow First off the staff is fabulous! Very attentive and make you feel special. Right from the manager Meghan to our fabulous server Isabella F we felt special. Just had the most delicious brunch. The biscuits and orange marmalade were fabulous.So flaky and delicious melting in our mouths. The falafel benny was awesome and very tasty.The falafels were the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the blueberry ricotta french toast and he really enjoyed it. The kitchen staff really know how to make delicious mouth watering meals. And the presentation…..should have taken pictures but was eager to eat. It was a symphony of flavours. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Kate was a very personable and attentive server. She had a great rhythm between our needs and the pace needed to create the perfect experience. We enjoyed cocktails, wild boar dumplings, salmon for myself, duck breast for my significant other, wine from Ontario and strawberry brûlée. All items were delicious, well-timed and presentation was excellent! Keep up the good work team Undefined, well back.

The service was impeccable…accommodating my family because I accidentally picked bar on the reservation. The staff cleaned water off the tables outside for us so we could all sit comfortably (we had our 8 year old with us). This was the last night of our vacation and it was by far the best meal we ate. We all ordered something different on the menu and everyone, including our 8 year old who ordered the Gnocchi, cleaned their plate. We will definitely be back next time we are in Hamilton!

Fantastic brunch spot! I was there with my partner for her birthday and everything was absolutely perfect! The food and drinks were delicious, the wait staff was attentive and helpful, the location was busy but not noisy. We will definitely be making the trip back into Hamilton to try it again!

My friend and I came in for dinner, we throughly enjoyed every single dish we chose. I strongly recommend the watch tartar, wild boar dumplings and the early grey duck breast. You really get what you pay for and the service was excellent as well! 10/10

Food quality was excellent. We shared 3 dishes, all of which come highly recommended… Blueberry and apple salad, ravioli and UD burger.

Went to undefined last night for our 22nd anniversary. The service was excellent and very professional. Our appetizers were excellent and my wife’s main (risotto with shrimp and saffron) was great. I ordered the hanger steak which was good but the sliced potato underneath the steak was very greasy which threw everything off. I would definitely recommend undefined to anyone
