I am a Chicago foodie and love trying restaurants, heard about this place on social media. Went for valentines day and let me tell you the food is MID. Food came fast but meatballs were still pink inside when we got it.. servers were nice but most serves just spoke spanish? Ambience was great not loud and also place was a vibe but probably never going back again..

The food and service were exceptional. Each dish was expertly prepared, exhibiting a delightful balance of flavors. The restaurant's ambiance was sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing. I plan to return and highly recommend it for a romantic dinner or an enjoyable evening out.

Ummo is an incredible dining experience! The staff was amazing, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were perfectly crafted, making the whole experience even better. I love that they have two different bars—one upstairs and one downstairs so you can choose where you want to enjoy your meal. Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot or a more lively atmosphere, it’s your choice. Definitely a 5-star restaurant!

Restaurant week menu was fantastic! They did my friends birthday well. Wasn’t a fan of the desserts but they were interesting and fun!

We had a group that was excited to get out of our neighborhood and try something new. The reviews looked great. We were really disappointed in both the drinks and the food. We ordered espresso martinis and they were very small and not good. Everything was premixed and the whipped cream was flat. The apps were pretty good but 2 out of the 5 entrees were not acceptable. Both were pastas that were lacking flavor, the lobster was undercooked and overall just a bummer. The waiter was very good and was apologetic.
