From January 24 to February 9, savor bold Italian cuisine during the 18th annual Chicago Restaurant Week with a three-course prix fixe dinner for $60 per person. Start with options like Octopus Carpaccio, UMMO Caesar Salad, Florentine Meatballs, or Sicilian Arancini. For the main course, choose Mushroom Risotto with chanterelle mushrooms, a seven-layered Lasagna Alla Bolognese, or Filet Mignon stuffed with grilled vegetables. End on a sweet note with Tomato & Basil mousse or 22 W Tiramisù featuring mascarpone mousse and cold brew. Dinner is served from 5 PM until close. *The Restaurant Week menu is for each guest to enjoy individually. Beverage, tax, and gratuity are not included.

Enjoy a full dinner experience at The Loft at UMMO, a destination for those seeking refined dining in a cool, energetic environment. With UMMO’s contemporary Italian menu available in its entirety from 6-10 p.m., set the tone for a memorable night in a chic, comfortable space filled with soft lighting, vibrant art installations and a relaxed vibe. In addition to Chef Vincenzo Vottero’s robust dinner menu, partake in craft cocktails, a smart selection of boutique wines and unparalleled hospitality. Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, the Loft also welcomes DJ sets — inviting guests to seamlessly transition from enticing dinner conversation to spirited weekend revelry.

Perhaps a result of Restaurant Week (although one diner ordered off the regular menu) our dinner at UMMO was underwhelming. Overcooked meat, fusilli that was actually fettuccini, our dinners lacked care and attention.

Compliments to the chef, food was delicious! Food runners did a great job with explaining the food items as they were brought out as well.

Food was very good but I wasn’t really blown away by anything. The fish had a lot of bones in it . Service was excellent and vibe is cool.

Went for RW week. Great Value. The Pulpo & Meat entree were my favorite (skip the arancini). Will try again with the regular menu!

Amazing food, quality, aesthetics, flavor, ingenuity!! The Carpaccio di polpo was innovative and hit so many spots of flavor to savor!! High- next level cuisine. First course well executed as food was set down before each of us without question. Main entree Braciole di Manzo was exquisite! Tender - amazing presentation and every consideration of the green sauce and chimichurri along with the caponata pairing was sensational, tender- cooked perfectly! Unfortunately with this course there was an auctioning of who had what at the serving, so that was disappointing, but merely a side step from food runners, since our server was top notch! The pomodoro e basilico was another truly innovative food invention with that basil sorbet that brought out all the flavors and brought it all together and enjoyed by two at our table of four. The tiramisu was a good dessert, but kind of missed the tiramisu mark. Overall, I’ve never gone to restaurant week, so my first experience was a homerun! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Food and drinks were delicious!! The decor was great and we ate upstairs at the loft…we liked that better than downstairs.
