Very pleased with our dinner. Near faultless cooking, wonderful flavours, peaceful ambience. Pricey of course, but worth it.

Although I hate to see any restaurant as empty as UMI was, especially on a Saturday night, it was a huge boon for our party of three. What is normally a very noisy room was blissfully quiet, making conversation easy and enjoyable. The food was all outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Kudos to our waiter Damien who brought just the right touch of attentiveness and privacy throughout the experience.

I was a little disappointed in the food. Wine pairing was nice. Service was robotic

We dined there to celebrate our anniversary. Service, food and wine pairings were excellent. MIke, our server, was friendly, helpful and provided excellent service!

全てのお料理が素晴らしく、期待を越える味でした。特に鮑とロブスターに感激しました。ペアリングのワイン&日本酒も美味しかったです。

Horrible waiters-didn’t know menu It took 92 min for any single item of food to come out! Host/wife telling my child to keep his feet off of the chairs-sorry you need to talk to the parents, not the kids in your restaurant. Food was meh as well-hope they improve

本当にとても美味しかったです。コースのWaikiki menuとKids menuのサーモンを頂きました。Popcorn Soupは単なるコーンスープとは次元が違うと言っていいくらい美味しかったです。Tenderloinは他の有名ステーキ店に負けおらず、デザートもマンゴーアイス、アングレーズにリリコイと金箔が乗っていてとても贅沢な一品でした。Kidsサーモンも焼き方、味付けがとても良い上に、白米も付いてきて充分な量でした。満足です。

My wife and I are “foodies”. This was quite simply “The Best” meal from start to finish that we’ve ever had. We go out dining quite often. The best restaurants usually on the east coast, NY, NJ, etc. This Chef is just operating on another level here. We had 2 starters, 2 second courses & 2 mains plus dessert and a bottle of wine. If they ever open on the East Coast, we’ll be regulars. Just incredible & delicious, service superb. Here’s what we ordered: Abalone with mushroom crust and sea asparagus Ahi Crudo with cured lemon and tobiko Kampachi with jicama, fennel, and shishito vinaigrette Foie gras in gyoza with mirin-cardamom jus Branzino, kombu-sake steamed Koji aged prime ribeye with okra tempura and soy pepper sauce Ulu potato mash with burnt butter Pavlova: likikoi caviar, tropical sorbet, hibiscus, and vanilla anglaise Artwork in the restaurant, painted on plywood to mimic the sand and water
