Ulu Kitchen by Merriman is an ocean front restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner service featuring local ingredients and recipes created by chef Peter Merriman.

We have indoor and outdoor dining options, with a full bar, and the most prime dining views in all of Ka'anapali. The breakfast menu features classic favorites like Eggs Benedits, omelettes, pancakes, as well as some unique dishes like the cure (breakfast ramen) and our Hawaiian chilaquiles.

Lunch features our signature smash burger, fresh ahi tuna poke bowl, tempura battered fish and chips, and a fresh local veggie wrap.

Dinner has a seafood forward menu featuring Ahi Sashimi, Grilled Tako, Scallops, Mahi Mahi, Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli. From the land we offer a USDA Prime Beef Filet Mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger, and Maui Nut Venison Loin.

Our server Tauley was very kind and attentive. She had many recommendations for my husband and I. We ordered the pork potstickers, sauce on the side (not a huge spice fan), crab cakes, tako escargot (soooo delicious!), and shared the surf n turf.

Amazing views and ambience. The restaurant is decorated first class. We split their special cucumber salad, which was great. After having numerous upscale meals on the island over the last week, we were both jonesing for a burger. They were great, cooked medium, with tasty mushrooms and a compound butter that was great. Oh, and the fries!!! We spoke to another couple who ordered the scallops and they did they were fantastic; that’s my order on the next visit!

Best meal I’ve had in some time. The macadamia nut fresh mahi was so good. The mai tai’s were also very good. The mochi cake was fantastic. We’ll be back again and again.

This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Maui! Service was superb, the food is awesome, and the ambiance is outstanding!! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good quality food served hot and appealing. Great service! So much better than the previous restaurant that was there food wise and attitude wise. We visit often and can tell the difference.

The starters were delicious. Take escargot and steamed clams. The burgers were fair. The rice n the fish entree was hard and inedible and the mushroom pie was over salted. The service was below standards for a Merriman establishment. Hunting down a server for water and not checking after the entrees are served is not what was expected.
