Located at 15 Seymour Place Marylebone, ULI offers a fresh approach to Asian cuisine. Natural limed oak, soft tones of blue and contemporary art give the restaurant a clean and informal look. Our menu encompasses carefully selected dishes from Asia, all prepared using traditional Chinese, Thai, Malay and Singaporean disciplines. We believe that Asian food should be clean, fresh and healthy, and that each dish should always be made from scratch.

Originally established in 1997, ULI Notting Hill is well established as a firm favourite among locals and critics alike. At our newest location at the south end of Seymour Place, ULI Marylebone serves lunch and dinner all week as well as an extensive range of snacks, cocktails and beverages.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our celebratory evening out. Very kind of the staff to recognise my husband’s birthday. The staff were super and a great meal although a little expensive.

    I had the cod with black beans, my friend had duck pancakes and my other friend the Pad Thai with prawns. We all found each of our dishes rather dry, not enough moisture in them. It was disappointing, since the restaurant's publicity prides itself on the limited menu idea, all the dishes ingredients sourced freshly, cooked from scratch. It's a good concept which wasn't really achieved. We told the waitress who said she would tell the chef. We were not given any feedback on our comments. It was my birthday so felt a bit deflated by this experience.

    Restaurant was very quiet but the food was worth it. Staff very attentive, asked for things to be changed a little from the menu and it was no problem. Would defiantly recommend

    I was impressed by the range of dishes available and the quick and friendly service. My only gripe was that the tasty food was a little bland for my asianised palate. A little more heat in the Ho Fun noodles, a tad more sweetness in the sweet and sour and a fraction more zip in my Singapore vermicelli wouldn't go amiss but maybe I have just been in Singapore too long :)

    Great food. Prawn curry so soft and delicatedly fragranced with coconut. We loved it!

    When we tried this place in June 2023, everything was delicious. We ordered Prawns Sambal, Miso aubergine, Singapore noodles, Crispy lamb lettuce wraps, sesame prawns, etc. All dishes were fresh and tasty. Yesterday, everything was super-sweet even after I requested that no sweeteners be added to any of the dishes. Also, we ordered dumplings and asked for them to be served first. They were served in the end! Schezhuan Prawns, we were told was spicy. Instead, it was sweet and the prawns tasted more of the flour that they were coated in! Singapore noodles tasted off. Uli coconut curry was so sweet one would mistake that for a dessert. Very disappointing experience overall. Service was lax as well with staff not being attentive to us even though we were the only guests in the entire restaurant for a good hour. We asked for forks but that was forgotten. I hope the food taste and service can be improved. Please no sugar in dishes!
