   A true foodie experience. We opted for the tasting menu and it was an experience to remember. The dishes were prepared with the precision and craftsmanship of a true culinary artist. I loved being able to see into the chef's atelier and waited for each course with a childlike excitement. We were celebrating our anniversary but I think I ended up with a serious FOOD crush on Corbin! We will definitely be back every chance we get!

   The whole experience from start to finish was one of the mist memorable dining we have had anywhere. The service, the surprise menu, the wine pairings and pacing of the whole evening was top notch. What a delicious delight! I would definitely recommend The Ugly Duckling Restaurant and will be returning for certain.

   One of my favorite tasting menu experiences I’ve ever had. They did a great job at bringing the spotlight on the amazing local ingredients home to the PNW. They also were very innovative while still maintaining a deliciousness factor which so many restaurants fail to succeed at. I’ll be back soon for sure!

   I mean, what an incredible experience! Run do not waddle to this amazing restaurant and incredible experience. Incredibly talented chefs , beautifully, curated cocktail and wine menu Megan the server was absolutely exceptional ! Beautiful space with brick walls and great art.    Every course was thoughtful and flavorful. The quality and cook on the proteins could not have been more perfect. We will be coming back.

   What an amazing dinner! The food was beyond excellent and the service was tremendous. The dishes were just the right amount of food perfectly done. We will be back!

   An inspirational evening. Each course is so meticulously and yet effortlessly prepared and presented. The flavours dance across your tongue and entertain the senses. There is a rich history in this area and that is not lost in the food, in fact it is intertwined in the DNA of the menu. This is not my first visit, and it won't be my last. The seasonal menu means I can return to be dazzled many times. A night to remember!!

    Outstanding! We were there on a quiet Wednesday while on vacation and were able to enjoy a relaxed five course set menu, with each item on the docket a winner. They even made a small pivot for me to account for a dairy issue and got a slightly different version of the Halibut. And the rib-eye steak to finish was awesome - coming from Alberta to get a piece of steak could have been an issue - but I can assure you it was not! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a neat spot in downtown Victoria. You will not be disappointed.
