Originated from the famed Uchi restaurant in Austin, founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole, Uchiko specializes in robust flavors infused with smoke and hints of char balanced with the fresh and clean profile that is the hallmark of its sister concept Uchi. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Happy Hour is offered everyday from 4:00 - 6:00 and on Sunday - Wednesday from 4pm - 10pm at the bar only. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

New favorite sushi spot in Houston! We were a group of 6, so we were able to sample a wide variety of dishes and everything was delicious. The decor and ambiance was lovely, the cocktails and filtered sake were tasty, the service was friendly, and the price was surprisingly great for the value.

Great meal - highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts, Hama Chili, Shima Aji, and Kurodai! The staff were amazing, offering valuable insights at every stage of the meal!

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had at any Uchi/Uchiko locations! Kinsey was very attentive and had wonderful recommendations for us and practically read my mind when it came to drinks and dessert. The coursing was on point and we definitely did not leave hungry. I appreciate so much the hospitality from Kinsey as well as other staff members! Sad to see the foie gras go but glad I got to enjoy the last few bites. Will still come back and hope to have Kinsey as my server! :)

Absolutely amazing. Every single item was exquisite. The bursts of flavor. The complexity. 100% the best Japenese cuisine I have ever had. Very cute restaurant, a waiting area where you can order cocktails while waiting for your table. Amazing experience. Service was excellent.
