Uchi, "home" in Japanese, is founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole. A delicate balance of elevated food and impeccable service, Uchi offers non-traditional Japanese cuisine with signature tastings, sushi, and seasonal omakase. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

3rd time visiting. First 2 were fabulous. This was quite disappointing!!! Nothing terrible but less than enthusiastic service and mediocre food. Left hungry and with a $400 bill.

We did the Omakasa which was great. One suggestion though based on my many experiences elsewhere. If you are going to recommend people eat the nigiri with their fingers you should be providing a finger bowl or at least a moist napkin so we aren’t sitting there with sticky fingers. This is the experience I’ve had at many other high end sushi restaurants.

This restaurant brings a new and extraordinary flavors to sushi. I loved the incorporation of Thai and Vietnamese flavors into the dishes. We were blown away with the flavors with every dish. Loved every bite!

Food was exceptional like all Uchi locations. Our last round of sushi took 30 minutes from time of order to placement on our table. Not sure why. Otherwise fantastic food and meal.

This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had! It should be a 3 star Michelin rated but evidently Michelin doesn’t do Phoenix. It was creative, delicious and the service was top notch!!!

The food is so good -- it is one of our favorites, but as always, Uchi delivers across all facets. We enjoy shared plates and they never disappoint. We were joking that we can order the same things each time and disagree on which is our favorite. The server was really nice and offered a few good suggestions and was attentive. Top 5 in Scottsdale if you ask me.

The omakase menu was terrific, with a delightful course variety. The service was exceptional, and the server was very knowledgeable and delivered some great sake choices to pair with the food.
