Easily the best restaurant I’ve ever been to from start to finish. The flavor combinations and presentation are above outstanding. They deserve a five star rating and the Mexican award they received is well deserved. Highly recommend this restaurant, but not too much - I want to be able to get a table next time we’re visiting!! ;)

The food was excellent, but the service was unacceptable. When I attempted to place my entire order, the server abruptly said, "I'm only taking drinks at the moment," and then took 20 minutes to return. This happened at 1PM, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Once we finally placed our order, the food then took an additional 40 minutes to arrive. To make matters worse, the manager threw our change at my mother at the end of our meal to rush us out.

the food was amazing! our server jose O recommended the tuna ceviche and another really delicious appetizer that was sort of like a large empanada. they also reccomended the short rib and it was so so good. the dessert he reccomended had an avocado mousse and it was a wonderful combination of flavors while still managing to be light. the drinks were really good too. will definitely be back! the restaurant was reccomended to us by a chicagohq instagram account if i remember correctly

Everything was excellent! Food was unique and immensely flavorful. Large portions for the price! Service was impeccable with a crazy level of attention to detail from all fronts. Felt taken care of by not only my server but the host team, management, food runners and especially the bussers! Thank you.

Second visit to Tzuco and will definitely not be my last. The patio seating is beautiful and remarkably private for being at the bustling corner of State & Superior. The menu is not extensive, but everything I’ve tried has been delicious, nothing overly spiced. I cannot handle excessively spicy food because of medical reasons, so it’s impressive to me that the flavors of the food are not killed with too much jalapeño or red pepper.

This place was absolutely incredible. Easily the best brunch we have ever had. The duck waffles and carne asada were amazing. Can’t recommend enough, enjoy.
