The Two Sawyers is a 16th Century Inn recently refurbished and under family ownership. We pride ourselves on serving excellent beer and food.

We have a large beer garden to the rear of the pub with over 30 tables for our guests to use for both drinking and dining.

A character bar with log fires serving guest ales, beers, and wines. The restaurant serves traditional pub food twice both lunch and evening and all day on both Saturday and Sunday.

Nice food good service, my only complaint is that staff disappeared when we wanted to pay I do realise that the restaurant was empty and they obviously had something else to do but we could not find anyone when we wanted the bill. Other than that all good.

Booked a table for 6 for a birthday dinner on a Sunday. The menu is small but that’s usually good because it usually means the dishes are being cooked fresh. Four of us had the Sunday roast. My pork was lovely. A huge piece on the bone with crunchy crackling. Served with a rich gravy, Yorkshire and roasties with seasonal veg. Others had chicken and beef options and loved them too. The others had fish and chips. They praised the fish quality and portion size. We were too full for dessert but we will return.

As we were staying at the Two Sawyer’s, it was lovely having a restaurant so close. The food was lovely. I had the special, cod supreme with pak choy and a reduced soy sauce and it was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

To eat here is always a joy. The food was as ever outstanding and the setting ideal. Really could not have asked for too much more

We wish we had found The Two Sawyers earlier. The staff team are friendly and welcoming and service was excellent. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. We cannot fault the Two Sawyer’s and will return if in the area again.

Excellent. Great food, great setting and great staff. The sawyer theme inside with old tools on the wall is great . The seared tuna on the daily specials menu was amazing. The malbec by the glass is great too.
