Twisted Liquid is the only restaurant of its kind in Blacksburg. The cocktail program is designed by winner of "Best of Virginia" in the cocktail category for the past few years. The manager is a wine and whiskey sommelier, and the bourbon collection is outstanding. The atmosphere is trendy, the food and drink is phenomenal, and the service is impeccable!

This is a fun, funky place. The drinks were amazing and the food is really good. It was a little loud, and I know I’m showing my age when I write it. I’d go here again in a heartbeat.

Went for the cocktails, left after one. They're just trying to hard. Anne $14 for two steamed buns is crazy.

Cocktails and service were wonderful; however, the food was very dry and overcooked. We will probably stop by again for drinks and skip the dinner.

Excellent service. The filet & mashed were delicious. The girl drink came out with charcuterie which was adorable

Service and location were great. Drinks were a little gimmicky and sweet for my taste. But great selection of spirits. Food was pretty mediocre to average.

Girlfriend and I went here for my birthday dinner and it was a great time! Not like anything else you're going to find in the area. Top notch food for similar pricing to other fine dining establishments in the area. Menu is small, which I have no problem with as someone who is critically indecisive. Even if you're not hungry, the cocktails are worth a visit on their own! Ordered the filet medium-rare, and it came out one the done side of medium-well. I mentioned it to our waitress who was absolutely phenomenal, and she took the plate back to the kitchen and had them refire it. While waiting for the filet to come back, she brought us our second round of cocktails and informed us that she had comped my drink and half my meal, as well as bringing us some complimentary animal cracker shots. The steak came back cooked perfectly and we went about our meal. Finished out with a delicious triple layer strawberry cake, and upon leaving the restaurant, we left our leftovers! While we were waiting for the crosswalk in the rain, the waitress comes running out of the restaurant to bring us our leftovers! Would go back for the service alone, but the rest of the restaurant was incredible as well. Only gripe is that we were sat in the back corner booth and it was almost too dark. A table top light fixture would have completely solved this, so not going to knock it too hard.

One of our most unique dining experiences we have had in the NRV. Everything was outstanding. Staff and food was superb. The wife loved the atmosphere! The value of the food was in line with the quality of the food.

Fantastic bar with a really good list of bourbons. Many allocated bottles. Drink list was quite innovative and creative. Food was tasty and high quality. I would have liked a few more choices on the menu. We will definitely be back for the drinks maybe not for a full meal, just a snack.

This is a great option for an upscale dinner and or drinks. It’s small so make sure you make a reservation. The night we were here an outstanding jazz pianist was playing enhancing the evening. Drinks were quite inventive and interesting and changed seasonally. We both had the lamb burgers which were delicious. Service was friendly although had it been more crowded she would have had her hands full bartending and serving tables! Give this place a try!
