In July 2008, Twigs Tavern and Grille opened to bring fresh flavors in a relaxing atmosphere to Rochester, Minnesota. Went out of our comfort zone and had the hot rock and the food was very good. So were the asparagus mashed potatoes. Didn't appreciate my french fries sitting atop wet onions and mushrooms. For the holiday season the area could have used additional decorating. Also it would help if they dimmed the light during the evening dining hour. Even if this is casual dining. Sat at the bar before our reservation and the bartenders are friendly and entertaining showing off their drink making talents. Drinks are well made and priced at the Rochester market rate. Server was friendly and menu knowledgeable but could have cleared dishes we no longer needed. The kitchen was putting out food in a very fast and efficient manner and all looked very good. This was a very good New Years Eve experience and we will return there again for any occasion. Staff should be proud.

I have been to Twigs many times and had great experiences. New Years Eve however, was not the case. Service was extremly slow. I didn't get the order I asked for. Which was supposed to be the pulled pork sandwhich, not a burger with pulled pork on it which was to pink, but because the service was so slow, I didn't want to send it back. For what was supposed to be a nice night out with friends for a special occasion. We were not impressed.

Great New Years Eve experience! The food was excellent. We had a reservation and got seated immediately. The service was great, and we were in and out in 1 hour 15 minutes, which was perfect because we had post dinner plans. Nicely done, Twigs!

Excellent service, all 5 of us had delicious meals. (Buffalo chicken waffle sandwich, walleye dinner, meatloaf, ribs, and chicken teriyaki pineapple sandwich). Gluten free options were great. All staff were friendly and efficient.

The food was amazing as always. The server seemed to be working two sections that were not in the same area as we didn’t see her very often. We were the only table she serviced in our area with another server doing the rest of them. The manager was absolutely horrible! We were eating and she asked if we needed anything. When we told her we did she said she would find our server instead of just getting the water and soda refilled. Then when we were finishing up our adult beverages as it took forever for them to be delivered after they were ordered she came up to the table and told us we needed to leave within five minutes. The reservation staff at the front also do not answer the phone or call you back like the message says. I had selected one time and when I got the confirmation it had actually reserved a different time. I tried to call multiple times to see if it could be corrected with no answer. I did leave a message as it said they would call you back but clearly that is not the case. Overall very disappointed as we do not live in MN and have come to this restaurant every time we come to Rochester as my daughter has Celiac. Sadly if it continues we will have to find another favorite spot to go.

This was are first time eating at Twigs and it won’t be our last! My wife had the grilled chicken breast with Jasmine rise and broccolini. She loved it. I had the taco bowl with Jasmine rice and shredded beef with mushrooms. It was delicious!!

The food is excellent and prices are amazingly inexpensive for whats served. Whats good? Everything I have eaten there. Walleye dishes include preperation other than deep fried. Choices like with wine and garlic sauce, and portions are large. For $23, it's amazing. Most places in Rochester charge 27 to $30 for deep fried. I have eaten there a number of times and it has always been fantastic.

Twigs is always a fantastic experience, especially being a sensitive celiac! The holiday special peppermint cheesecake was amazing! This is a must eat at restaurant whenever we come to Mayo.

The food was incredible!! Twigs is always decorated so nicely, it looks just amazing!! There were 6 of us that met for dinner and drinks. Dinner and all drinks were awesome! Korean BBQ tacos, are one of the best dishes I've ever had- so flavorful. Our Waitress was nice, and she did a good job, it was pretty busy when we were there, but I felt like she did good!
