We went to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Lovely staff with such nice detail touch. Best way to mark this date.

As usual the menu is crafted from seasonal, local produce and is exquisite in its execution. Staff friendly and efficient.

A lovely place to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were delightful and attentive. The food was excellent. It was a little noisy from the overly loud music from the pub but not enough to spoil our evening. The food was excellent if a little pricey. A great ‘celebration’ dinner destination .

Absolutely delicious food. The flavours were clever and subtle and just scrumptious. What made it even more enjoyable was that they catered for vegans. A beautiful menu. My only slight gripe was that despite prior notice they hadn’t thought about vegan canapés or vegan side dishes. They did offer a beautiful cocktail instead but I think there is often a common misconception that vegans don’t eat a lot or that the vegan diet is for weight management which is often not the case at all. the vegan in our party eats more than the rest of us and needs to to and unfortunately whilst his meal was truly delicious he could have eaten more. But thank you, we would definitely come again.

We had the pleasure of dining at 27, a fine dining establishment that offers more than just a meal; it’s a true experience for the soul. From the moment we walked through the doors, the warmth and authenticity of the service set the tone for a special lunch. The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, striking that perfect balance between professional and personable—making us feel right at home in an atmosphere that exudes elegance without pretension. Our meal began with one of each of the four starters, each an artwork in itself. The Crab Mille Feuille was a delicate creation, with layers that melted in the mouth, providing a symphony of textures and fresh flavors. The Haddock Ravioli followed showcased a masterful balance of lightness and richness, each bite more enticing than the last. However, it was the Isle of Wight Tomato Tart that truly stole the show—sublime is the only word that does it justice. With vibrant, juicy tomatoes set atop a perfectly crisp base, it was a celebration of simple ingredients elevated to the extraordinary. The Duck Terrine and Parfait, rich and indulgent, rounded out our starters, offering a decadent contrast to the other dishes. For mains, we indulged in both the Lamb and Beef dishes, each cooked to absolute perfection. The lamb was tender, with a depth of flavor that lingered beautifully, while the beef was exquisitely seared and succulent—each dish an ode to the careful, thoughtful preparation that underpinned the entire menu. 27 is more than a dining destination; it’s a place where food becomes an art form, and every dish is an exciting experience. One of my best ever meals.
