In 1992, the Lishman family had a dockside moment of inspiration. What if there was a premium restaurant that offered delicious, fresh food served with the same fun, relaxed hospitality one enjoys with family and friends at the cottage? From this simple dockside idea, Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill was born. Thirty years later, Turtle Jack’s continues its tradition of celebrating family, friendship and fun through its signature premium-casual dining experience. I made reservations online. I came a little early and our table was ready. The hostess said who the waitress was going to be and even explain the menu. The waitress came over immediately introduced herself and the specials and asked for drinks. We sat in a booth in the bar. The seating was very comfortable. Both of our dinners were very good. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and made suggestions with the menu. Overall a great experience.

Overall my experience was good. It'a a nice looking restaurant with good spaced out seating. The service was excellent, timely and very friendly. The food was pretty standard, to be fair I had the nachos and mac and cheese. I was hoping for my mac and cheese to be more creamy and cheesy than it was but it was tasty. My only issue was my husband and I waited almost 8 minutes before being acknowledged and we had a reservation. In saying all of that, I would definitely return.

The service was amazing. Our server, Natalie, was friendly and very efficient. The food was very tasty. There is a great variety of options on the menu. We have been several times and have not been disappointed.

I’ve been there for lunch 3 times and the food was fantastic. I was very disappointed in the meal(s) we had for dinner. I thought you would be our answer to the Keg restaurant but unfortunately the food doesn’t compare.

Good seating and ambiance. Server was courteous and constantly checked if we needed anything. Price is slightly on higher side and small portions but service,seating and ambiance makes up for it. Overall very satisfied and my family enjoyed the lunch.

Andres is an excellent server. Very attentive and the whole experience memorable. Food was very good and the dessert was amazing.

I found it to be extremely expensive for what you ordered. We just had a couple of turkey sandwiches and it was over $50. Plus it was almost empty which should have been a warning.

You can't beat Turtle Jacks on 1/2 price wine nights. French dip and fish and chips were both excellent as usual. Jada was a great server and was pleasant and efficient. Atmosphere on pub side is bright, well spaced tables and large bar. Dining side has more booths, dimmer lighting and, again, tables were well spaced so it is quiet.
