Second time here, the food was fantastic again, we had a vegetarian with us, and she impressed with the options she had for her. Will be back for another visit again I'm sure.

First time visiting this restaurant, will definitely be returning. Everything was great staff friendly food lovely couldn’t fault anything.

We went to Turkuaz on two recommendations, so our expectations were set quite high, but we left disappointed. First, what was good. The starters, salad and drinks were excellent. We had the Hot Meze sharing platter and everything was delicious. The Calamari in particular were perfectly cooked. Second, what we felt let the experience down. 1. The service was rushed. We felt pressurised to choose our menu options quickly, and the main courses arrived before we had finished the starters. 2. The Lamb Sheek Kebab was dry. Not enough for us to return it as inedible, and it tasted very nice, just a lot drier than we would expect. 3. During the night following our visit, I had a very upset stomach, whilst my partner was fine. The only dish I had which my partner did not eat was the Lamb Kleftiko, so I am thinking that was the cause. The after effect of the Kleftiko and the dryness of the kebabs along with the speedy service to get diners in and out as quick as possible leads us to wonder if the mains were prepared in advance and reheated on demand. This may be a symptom of a new-ish restaurant that is keenly trying to make its way. Given that others recommended it to us, it cannot be all bad, and I won't take anything away from their experiences, but it's fair to say that for us it did not hit the mark.
