Turkuaz takes its name from the turquoise colored sea in Turkey and Mediterranean and brings both a culinary experience and an ethnic one to NYC. We started twenty years ago, in the Upper West Side and moved to Midtown West in 2019. Our food is healthy and flavorful, with a lot of Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean delicacies, our service is friendly and professional and our atmosphere is romantic and transporting. Our location is ideal for theater crowd and tourists. Whether you are on your own and are looking for a quick bite, or you want to spend time with your sweetheart or friends, you will have a great time at Turkuaz. If you are one of our previous patrons, please come and check us out at our new locations. If we have never met, try us out, we have been in this business long and strong and have built a good brand.     We have 20 years of experience in the corporate and residential catering business. The richness of the menu makes it available to create a colorful and delicious presentation. Chafing dishes and stereos, silverware and plates are also available to be ordered for finer catering orders.

    I think the restaurant is great. The only problem is that they only accept cash tips. In this era a lot of people don’t carry cash with them . I wanted to leave a great tip to my server who was great , but couldn’t because I did have no cash with me. They should have an ATM machine on site or to change the policy all together so people can add the tip on the credit call. It really ruin your dinner when you want to tip good service and can’t because the restaurant makes it very difficult and doesn’t have an ATM on site .

    Food had an incredible flavor. Fresh food, great ambiance. Service was spectacular. Will come back when I return to NYC. Highly recommended.

    Excellent as usual. We only eat appetizers here because they are so delicious. We had 4 dips and a desert and all great.

    I do love this restaurant! The food is always delicious. Although not an inexpensive restaurant, you get what you pay for! the service is always great and the servers are friendly and very wonderful. And the food is beautifully prepared and delicious!

    The food was absolutely delicious so well seasoned, everything we ate was 10/10. I brought home left overs and it was still delicious, one of the best, if not the best Turkish food I’ve had. We ordered the sultans platter, the salmon and the branzino, and a cold appetizer platter and borek & kibbeh. Stick to wine if you intend on drinking, the “cocktails” are not it. Still 10/10 recommend.

    Food was excellent and came out quickly. Staff was friendly. Our favorites were the Cacik, the Chicken Adana, and the Claypot Kebab

    Chairs are noisy, scrape against floor every time anyone in the restaurant gets up

    If you want to taste Anatolian food from miles away, it is a perfect address. I would like to thank my waiter brother from Elazig for his interest.
