Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Always scratch-made, always responsibly-sourced.
Please arrive on time with all members in your party present. We will cancel reservations 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
In compliance with the NC mandate please wear a mask upon entry and when moving around the restaurant. Our patio is covered, but it is not heated. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Experience the magic of Appalachia through our Sorghum Pork Bowl and Apple-achian Shine-tini! With the help of culinary experts in the region, our executive chef has created the quintessential Appalachian dinner. The Sorghum Pork Bowl features pork confit wrapped in Benton’s Country Ham prosciutto, served over a bed of stone-ground goat cheese grits and a bean medley with spinach and bacon. Over top is a sweet-but-savory sorghum black pepper glaze, popped sorghum, and a sprinkle of chives. This dish will fill your belly and warm your spirit! Don't forget to wet your whistle with our Apple-achian Shine-tini, featuring Ole Smoky Apple Pie Moonshine. These Appalachian-inspired dishes are available for a limited time only.

Food was good. Service was good. Saw a waiter scratch his butt and didn’t wash his hands and continued to make drinks and take food too tables. We told the manager and she brought us our food.

There were lots of great breakfast options. The bacon was a favorite, as were the cheese grits. The possibilities for create your own omelet were numerous.

A large group of family and friends went on Sunday afternoon for an early dinner before a musical at the theater. We had a reservation which made it smooth. Our waitress was very attentive with drinks and even had great order suggestions. A variety of food is on their menu and you're sure to find something you'd like. For a group of 8, we were there for about 1.5hr with drinks, main course, and dessert. The atmosphere is airy and refreshing. A very clean resturant. It was probably 1/3 to 1/2 full and it was relatively quiet which was wonderful.

This was a very disappointing experience. Went here on a date. Our waitress ignored us the majority of the night. Her attitude was that of disgust. She was cold with us while being nice to parties right beside us, which along with other details led us to believe she was doing so because we are a queer couple. She sat us in an area where it was raining lightly. When the rain increased to a lightning storm, she had not checked on us in so long that we ended up needing to move to a covered table on our own. Next time we saw her, she was heading to another table and was shocked by our still being there, stating “oh! you guys are still here”. I also had asked her to initially let us know if more tables cleared inside. I then heard her ask the table beside ours if they would be alright with the weather— never once were we offered this option, despite having asked for it. She was rude to us until she saw my wallet, which happens to be a designer brand. She then attempted to initiate small talk and extend kindness. Overall a disappointing and horrible experience. The food was decent but the Greenville location is better in even that. Love Tupelo Honey as a whole but this location let us down.

My 2nd time having a perfect meeting here on a Sunday afternoon. My guests arrived a bit later then expected and unexpectedly, had 2 kids. Staff was able to accommodate us in the outside area, as reserved, but in a section that was quiet and unobtrusive to other guests. Between the 2 visits we've enjoyed the shrimp po boy, bone-in fried chicken, classic chicken & waffles, fried pickles. banana pudding, and the specialty "Sips". All tasted like my grandma from SC used to make. I'd lived in NY for decades before NC - trust & believe this is legit, well-seasoned southern food!!! Not a fan of the crust on the fried green tomatoes though. Staff is attentive, professional, and kind. Our server, Austin, was amazing. Good, casual vibes: church folk, homegirls, tourists, locals, familes, and dates. I highly recommend and can't wait to return!
