Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Always scratch-made, always responsibly-sourced.
Please arrive on time with all members in your party present. We will cancel reservations 15 minutes after the scheduled time.
In compliance with the NC mandate please wear a mask upon entry and when moving around the restaurant. Our patio is covered, but it is not heated. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Reservations recommended on the weekend.

Join us for a Southern brunch during the week between Christmas and New Year’s! We’ll be opening early at 9AM and serving our full brunch menu until 3PM. Indulge in Tupelo classics like our Shrimp & Grits, Chicken & Waffles, and made-to-order omelets. Don’t forget a mimosa (or two)!

Seated at a weird crampy dirty seat table by the door. Server looked like he didn’t really want to be there. Nothing special or memorable.

Another excellent meal at Tupelo Honey before "Some Like It Hot" at Belk Theater. This is our Go-To restaurant before Broadway shows.

I left my credit card there not sure why you didn’t call me .. you had my number on my reservation then I called and said I left my card .. y’all says you closed at 9:00 .. it would be at the bar I came at 8:40 and the doors were locked … we had to beat on the doors and windows ..… I live at Lake Norman so I didn’t want have to come back …the manager was kind of a jerk when he let me in…

The ambience and the service were really nice! However, the fried chicken tenders need seasoning badly. We enjoyed the juiciness of the chicken, but nothing, including the coating, had any flavor. However, I had a salad with grilled chicken, and it was soooo good. The chicken was juicy and seasoned. We will be back though. All in all, the experience was nice, and the drinks were tasty.
