   Main entree was excellent. Healthier vegetable side dishes would make it even better

   Saturday morning I expected it to be really crowded but it was very quiet! The food and service were both perfect. It’s really nice to go to a restaurant and not be disappointed!

   This was one of our worst experiences here. I made reservations more than 2 weeks prior to our visit . We came in and got seated right away. The restaurant was less than half full so service should be fantastic. We had to wait almost 20 minutes just to get drinks at our table. There was only 4 of us. Waitress brought over some biscuits for the long wait but they were hard as a rock. We always order the biscuits anyway because they are a signature dish with the blueberry jam but again another let down. So now it took even longer to order our food. 2 of our parter members wanted surf and turf but the were supposedly out of steak. It was only 7pm but maybe if they didn't take so long to get our drinks they might have still had some so the 2 guests ordered the shrimp and grits which were absolutely horrible. Grits were clumpy and the shrimp was so spicy they could not eat them as our monthly visits they are not spicy. What really made us mad was other tables that got seated after us were all getting steak!! But they were supposedly out? Had to constantly ask for drink refills. Glad a location finally opened in our town as we will no longer be visiting this location. Not sure what changed but definitely went down hill. Visit was on 2/15/2025 at 7pm.

   Food was great! Restaurant was very busy so the noise level was loud but it was still a good experience!

   Reservation process was not well managed. Late to sit us & not the table we wanted. Server was very good, but early experience put a damper on the situation. Food was just ok. Starter took a long time to come out and was cold. My Mac & cheese was dry and cold.

   The chicken dishes were outstanding and so were the cocktails. It was extremely busy on Valentine's Day, but the service was still on point. The sides, Brussel Sprouts and Pumpkin Spice soups were so tasty. Loved it all.

   Tupelo Honey is one of our local go to restaurants. They have a focused but well prepared menu and an excellent cocktail list. Tonight probably because of Valentine’s Day, they were extremely busy and service was not what we were accustomed to seeing . But we had an enjoyable evening and look forward to returning.
