Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Please arrive on time with all members in your party present. We will cancel reservations 15 minutes after the scheduled time. The combining of separate reservations will not be honored. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Experience the magic of Appalachia through our Sorghum Pork Bowl and Apple-achian Shine-tini! With the help of culinary experts in the region, our executive chef has created the quintessential Appalachian dinner. The Sorghum Pork Bowl features pork confit wrapped in Benton’s Country Ham prosciutto, served over a bed of stone-ground goat cheese grits and a bean medley with spinach and bacon. Over top is a sweet-but-savory sorghum black pepper glaze, popped sorghum, and a sprinkle of chives. This dish will fill your belly and warm your spirit! Don't forget to wet your whistle with our Apple-achian Shine-tini, featuring Ole Smoky Apple Pie Moonshine. These Appalachian-inspired dishes are available for a limited time only.

I ordered the mahi mahi with Mac and cheese. The mahi was so overdone it wouldn’t cut easily even with a knife. It was so dried out and hard. The mac and cheese was one hard lump that you couldn’t just take a forkful of. It was very dried out. Our food came out very long after we ordered and I bet it had all been sitting for a long time under a heat lamp. The other person in my party ordered the fried chicken which came out smaller than a kids meal. Two tiny drumsticks and one tiny thigh. No sides. We were both still starving after dinner. It wasn’t good. Everyone around us was complaining of issues too. The people next to us got all the wrong sides and wrong food. It wasn’t busy.

This is my second time at Tupelo Honey within the past month or so. The location is convenient and the food and drinks are decent. I’ve had issues with service both times. The first time an order was completely forgotten and it took some time for our food to arrive. The second time, an order was also missed and when we called it out the order that arrived was partially wrong. While the managers were kind, the staff seems to forget to check in. Overall, lackluster experience.

The fried chicken which is supposed to be their specialty was nothing special.

I came to the restaurant to eat and waste time because I’ve never been to that one before. My plans were delayed, and I had nowhere to go before my train left at midnight. The staff allowed me to spend the day there and they were the sweetest group of people I have ever met. They brought me drinks and a snack. I had to make a review on my social media and I’m happy I’m able to make a review on OpenTable.

An amazing place to sit outdoor on the patio and enjoy brunch with my husband. Drinks were good and so were our meals. Dessert was taken home for later on. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive to us at all times. We will be back ❣️

Great service! The biscuits were delicious. Also enjoyed the shrimp and grits and smothered chicken. Great cocktails too. Family friendly.

Our reservation was at 1:30 and we arrived at 1:15. Once we placed our orders our food did not arrive till 3pm and the waffles we cold and the chicken was burnt.The waffles were so cold that the butter on top wouldn’t melt and the chicken was burnt and dry. I will say that the grits were great and our server was awesome. I spoke with a manager who offered to comp the meal but I wasn’t looking to be comped but just wanted to inform her of my thoughts of the visit.

It was very busy brunch. Took forever for the drinks to come out and even longer for the food. Biscuits were A LOT smaller than a few months ago. Food was good just took forever to get out.

We dine at Tupelo regularly during football season and are more than pleased each time… Food is prepared as ordered… delivered hot and timely. Just a great overall experience!!
