Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual.

Great service and food. Promptly seated at our arrival time hostess very nice. Our server Denise was very nice. The menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from. Very nice bar also. We will be back again to dine.

Food and service were excellent as always. However, I had a birthday reward that was not honored, left a bad impression.

Everything was so good! Perfect place for southern food especially if you are from the north and don’t get it often. We had fried pickles and fried green tomatoes as apps. Delicious! Our meals were awesome. Blackened shrimp gumbo and the meatloaf for the adults. Kids (teens) ate mac-n-cheese waffles with asheville hot fried chicken and honey-dusted fried chicken. Clean plates all around. We will definitely be coming back. Skinny margarita for my wife was also perfect.

Absolutely awesome place. Best shrimp and grits I have ever had. Wonderful staff and great atmosphere.

We made a reservation at 7:30 And arrived in time, we were then told the kitchen and bar closed at 8pm. The staff cleaned the floor and tables as we were having dinner. We were out of the restaurant by 8:45. Seems if your last seating is at 8 the kitchen should close at 8:30. Also I wish we would have been told the restaurant closed at 8, we would have gone elsewhere with a 7:30 reservation

My family and I went to eat at Tupelo honey on our last night of vacation. We love southern foods and this place seemed up our alley. Biscuits for a cause we’re very good. Fried chicken was mid level southern cooking. A lot of the sides were extremely overcooked. Main issue was chicken and waffles and chicken sandwich were both floating in what I can only describe as a sauce that should be the final level of the tv show hot ones. My issue is it said sweet and spicy. This has no sweet and insane heat to where neither of us could eat more than 2 bites. The waiter noticed this and said yes some people think the heat is extreme. But didn’t offer and type of replacement.
