Tuna Bar is a Japanese Raw Bar and Grill concept created by Owner and Chef Kenneth Sze. Located in Old City Philadelphia, Tuna Bar boasts a relaxing, upscale atmosphere serving fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The diverse menu offers traditional and specialty sushi rolls, raw oysters, scallops, hand-selected fish, and shareable entrees. Tuna Bar offers a fully stocked bar of wine, sake, and spirits. There are no outside food and beverages allowed. There is a $40 dessert/cake fee for guests that wish to bring in a dessert/cake for their special occasion.

Our server Henry was excellent. The Wagyu Spring rolls were amazing and the Winston’s Heat cocktail was delicious.

Simply outstanding in every aspect. Highly attentive and helpful service, somewhat loud as the evening went on, but the quality and diversity of dishes were a treat beyond compare. We had a broad variety of offerings that were recommended by staff. Each was a taste and texture sensory delight. The experience reinforced our desire to return here more often.

Great fresh sushi & great service. They also accommodated my 10 year old by making her chicken fried rice which isn’t on their standard menu.

Fresh sand delicious tuna and nice portion for the tuna tartare. Nicely spiced shrimp and very fresh oysters.

The drinks and food were all excellent! We had the wagu beef egg rolls, the wasabi fried rice, the Simdy roll and the tuna flatbread, and the king ghadorah roll. I wouldn’t change anything! All were just so good!

The special rolls are exceptional. This time I had the Fishtown which was excellent. My wife had one whose name I cannot spell (King Dag?) but it was also fabulous. What we had not expected was ordering the crab fried rice which arrived first and was truly wonderful. Complex flavors and great value. Cold beer, good vibes, great food, and a 5 minute walk. Perfection!!! We will be back.
