Tuna Bar is a Japanese Raw Bar and Grill concept created by Owner and Chef Kenneth Sze. Located in Old City Philadelphia, Tuna Bar boasts a relaxing, upscale atmosphere serving fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The diverse menu offers traditional and specialty sushi rolls, raw oysters, scallops, hand-selected fish, and shareable entrees. Tuna Bar offers a fully stocked bar of wine, sake, and spirits. There are no outside food and beverages allowed. There is a $40 dessert/cake fee for guests that wish to bring in a dessert/cake for their special occasion.

                        I recently had the pleasure of dining here and it was a delightful experience. I chose to sit outside at a patio table, and even though it was on the street, the ambiance was surprisingly peaceful. The service was a bit slow, but given how busy it was, the server did a commendable job of being visible and attentive when needed. The highlight, of course, was the seafood. The oysters, both East and West Coast varieties, were incredibly fresh and came with a special sauce that perfectly enhanced their natural flavors. The sushi was equally impressive—each piece was prepared with care and tasted delicious. Overall, a wonderful spot for sushi lovers looking for fresh seafood and a pleasant dining atmosphere. Highly recommend!

                        The food was wonderful. They had Toro and Uni, not everyone has that. I was a little disappointed that they don't have Tomago which is unusual for a good Sushi spot and is a nice way to end a sushi dinner. The service was excellent and the Saki recommendation was perfect. This place isn't inexpensive and the room was very noisy - lots of hard surfaces that did not help the acoustics. We found a little 2 person booth in the back that was a little quieter - now I've written this I'll probably never be able to get that table again 😂

                        Tuna Bar was a great experience! We were a family of five celebrating a college graduation. The food was delicious and drinks were tasty.
