One of my best dining experiences ever. You can tell the food was made by a Cyprian greek mother as it was all so flavorful and beautiful. However, the thing that sets this restaurant apart is the impecable service, ambiance and experience. From the moment we entered we were greeted with open arms, humor and a sense of love for the food/dining experience of every guest. I found the meat a bit too sweet for my liking but it was cooked beautifully and the appetizers and sauces were perfection. Chase was an amazing server and the owner Elena is so kind and clearly cares so much about her restaurant. The sense of family amongst staff is infectious and we have yet to feel so connected to a staff anywhere in the UK. I live in New York City (a ways away) but I cannot wait to come back to Tsiakkos and Charcoal. They also made my mothers birthday so special and I am eternally grateful for that. A must visit in London as far as I’m concerned! ❤️

A hidden gem in the heart of Maida Vale. Super friendly service, great food and ultra trendy vibe. Would thoroughly recommend.

Cozy family run neighborhood Greek restaurant with homemade favorites. Absolutely delicious. Neighborhood favorite with locals being greeted by the staff. Outstanding perfectly ripe tomatoes in the yummy Greek salad. Fresh herbs on the garlicky tzatziki. Chunky fresh hummus. Warm fresh pita. Perfectly seasoned grilled chicken souvlaki and fall off the bone spiced roasted lamb. Highly recommend this welcoming homey place with delicious food.

As always, staff are super friendly and attentive. Food was well seasoned and cooked. The chicken souvlaki and burnt port remain firm favourites! New on the menu, baked cheesecake with salted caramel sauce…this was so delicious, I ordered another slice to go. Great atmosphere - perfect for catch ups with friends and parties. Great service, excellent food! Highly recommend.

This is a fun buzzy place, with a full family run feel to it. I have been many times and will 100% go back again. If you’re looking for tasty food with authentic Greek feel then this is for you. My only minor criticism is every main course just seems to be served with rice. While that rice is very tasty, it would be nice to have an alternative.
