It was my brother in law’s birthday and they really took care of us. Service from the door to table was amazing. Only wish for him to have more meat options.

This is a great place. We were initially seated in an area, where the next table was almost yelling in their voice volume. It was to the point that it hurt your ears. We were not sure why, but it was what it was. We asked for another table and the waiter said all were booked, so we just accepted we would have to listen to yelling for the entire dinner. Within 5 minutes, a lady came and asked us if we wanted to move, she had us a table. We gladly accepted and went to a wonderful place with much lower sound. We quickly learned that she was Ms. Trummer, one of the owners. She was fantastic in getting us settled and getting our wine ordered and served. She is an excellent example of customer service and constructs you have a true dining experience. The different courses arrived in just the right amount of time, food was great, and the experience was truly fine dining. Kylea was our waitress, and she was excellent, and we learned that the chef was Kylea, our waitress's brother. Over the course of our meal, we had four to 5 different wait staff stopping by and talking and making sure all our needs were met. We also met Mr. Trummer, and he personally helped us get our leftovers packaged to take home. Mr. and Ms. Trummer should be proud of their restaurant, its staff, and their attention to detail and customer service.

Sat out on the deck on a beautiful evening. Wonderful service and great food. Had the prime rib and the halibut. Stefan helped us select an amazing wine. Great wine list and range of dishes. Highly recommend.

We waited 15 minutes for someone to bring us menus and water. The server was distracted, maybe too many tables. We waited another 15 minutes for bread and drinks. One drink was never brought. We sat outside and the heater was broken so we were freezing. We planned to stay for dessert and coffee but the whole experience was so terrible that we just paid the check and left. The food was mediocre but VERY expensive. I would never go there again. The service was terrible.

We had a wonderful experience for our anniversary. The bar staff made awesome cocktails and were very friendly. The GM, Mike made us a special drink and had great recommendations for dinner. We will definitely be back!

The meal was delicious. The service can be a little bit more attentive. The upstairs dining room is very noisy. The tables are pretty close to each other. It’s an expensive restaurant. Will recommend for special occasions.

We had a wonderful evening at this lovely restaurant! The service was fantastic starting with the friendly hostess and the servers were knowledgeable and made terrific suggestions. The meal was absolutely delicious and dessert was amazing! Highly recommend this special spot in Clifton!

Trummer’s always seems like a special occasion. But we met another couple for an early dinner on an ordinary Friday night. The ambience is clean and open but still homey. The service was very attentive. The prime rib and schnitzel were generous servings but overall the food was less than expected for the price. The gem salad was mostly inedible core, with few of the soft buttery leaves we expected. They graciously removed the charge for the Jerusalem artichoke soup as it arrived lukewarm. The shareable side dish of charred carrots was also luke warm and far from charred. The whole branzino had a soggy skin and not the crispy roasted appearance I anticipated. The strawberry pine nut topping was sour and added nothing to the dish, except a little color. Some improvements need to made in the food preparation for sure. We love coming here so we hope next time we find a marked improvement.
