Great food and drinks. We ordered multiple small plates and all were delicious and unique. Our waiter Chris was great and helpful.

The food was good, the prices reasonable, cocktails were great, the service was polite and attentive. The choice of “background” music was fine but very, very loud. We had to really raise our voices to hear each other. It’s a good restaurant to choose before a show but not a place for quiet dining.

Overall it was a good experience. However, it took almost a full hour for our meal to come out, and we had a show to get to at the Bushnell. So, we were slightly pressed for time. We think the server was the only one there, which may have attributed to the slow service. I was also slightly annoyed that the dinner menu was the only option for a 2:30 reservation, no lunch menu was provided. Although it was an overall good experience, I don’t think I would choose to eat there again.

We love Trumbull Kitchen. The food is very reliably good and we always feel welcomed. Miniya was a great server. All a very positive experience.

Great food, and came out quickly, but staff ignored us at the host stand when we got there at 8:45 (kitchen closed at 9). We waited for at least five minutes before the bartender politely came over, apologized, and sat us. Waitress quickly greeted us and let us know kitchen closed in five minutes. Probably a great restaurant, but don’t go after 8:30.

Server was very professional. They were out of the fish special at 5:30? Replacement dish was just ok. Spouses dish was very good. App came out just before entrees

We had dinner with the grandkids (ages 10 and 7) before A Christmas Carol. Nice menu options for them including salmon, which my grandson ordered and loved. Served in something resembling a bento box or cafeteria tray (only fancy), the kids’ meals were healthy - salad, apples, biscotti. Kids could not have been happier. Food arrived quickly, was fresh and hot. My daughter-in-law is a vegetarian and had the pad Thai. Enjoyed it. I had the salmon. Delicious!! Service was fantastic. Our server was very attentive. Everyone was welcoming and patient with the kiddos.

This was top notch. Not only is the food delicious, they have lots of gluten free options for me. And on top of that we were celebrating a special occasion and the servers went above and beyond. This is a real Hartford gem!
