Trumbull Kitchen offers an exceptional downtown dining experience. The soup of the day was absolutely incredible, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, and the staff demonstrated genuine hospitality. Each dish we tried was a masterpiece, showcasing both creativity and top-notch culinary skill. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a delight. Brick chicken was dry, veg underneath was cold and tasteless. Waiter never checked in after dropping food and had to be tracked down for the bill. I expect better from a Max restaurant

I love this place. It was our first time but we will be back when in the area. I had the duck tacos which were perfect in every way. My table mate had the lamb with pomegranate sauce. It was on the daily menu but he devoured it!

The service and the food were excellent. If you go for happy hour, make sure to sit on the bar side of the restaurant. Highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip. Yum.

I had not been there in years. I remember it as heavy meals which is great but if I choose to go heavy I go to Max Downtown. I loved this restaurant! A new menu was provided yesterday and there a wide variety offering small plates and meals. The four of us all chose something different and three of us had a salad with plates. The salads were ample and fabulous!! The tacos were excellent and the chicken sandwich was great. We also shared fresh guac with nachos. Another hit! I will be back! Glad to try something new in Hartford and finding parking right next door too!

Trumbull Kitchen was a great find. We were looking for outdoor dining and a good selection. We got both at the Trumbull Kitchen. Close to everything downtown and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

We were 8 people passing through Hartford and we stopped here because they could give us an outdoor table last minute on a Saturday night. We were starved and all had appetizers or salads as well as main courses and deserts. We were also thirsty and enjoyed the wide range of cocktails and draft beers. The staff was hustling to take care of a full house, but they managed. We eat every dish right down to the plate and congratulated ourselves for finding such a great place.

The food was wonderful and the service was very good. Our server, Julian, was nearby if needed but didn't hover or bother us while we enjoyed our meal. It was a lovely way to end a nice day with a friend.
