Contemporary, cool and inventive, it has been fashioned by legendary Connecticut restaurateur Richard Rosenthal and executive chef and partner, Chris Torla. Custom. Progressive cross-cultural dishes offer variations of familiar food from around the world. The menu features a collection of tasters, tapas, tequila as well as larger plates and entrées. A new focus on agave spirits has brought new excitement to the restaurant.

Hanger steak, Caesar salad, and beet salad were exceptional. Outstanding waiter -- attentive but not overbearing or obsequious. Seating upstairs afforded perfect sound level and good ambience. All for under $100 each, including the tip.

We went on Valentine’s Day so the noise was understandably a little louder than usual, but the service was absolutely outstanding. Our server and GM were both incredibly accommodating and even though the restaurant was very busy, everything came in a timely manner

We had a wonderful pre-theater meal at Trumbull Kitchen. Megan was the hostess when we arrived and was terrifically accommodating on our request for a table in a specific location. The service was excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. Everything tasted as beautifully as it looked. It's a wonderful place to go for a drink or dinner before the theater. My only less-than-enthusiastic comment was that the restaurant was very loud made worse by music playing way too loudly in my opinion. It makes it a challenge to have good conversation over dinner.

While I asked to have no anchovies on my Caesar salad and my filet bites cooked medium well, that wasn't what I got.

Kuy was a terrific server. It was gracious to let us try the gluten free papadam.

Great place. Ask for the vegetarian menu and if will help you’re experience. Perhaps they should offer it before you pour over a menu and try to see what you can make work. Service was OK. Could have been better given how slow it actually was.
