Located in the heart of the Lantern District in Dana Point, Truly Pizza is an artisanal neighborhood pizzeria where friends and family can relax and enjoy the fellowship of sharing pizza - the world's greatest communal food.
Our outdoor garden design, rooftop wine experience and nurturing service style promote a welcoming sense of community by offering friends and neighbors a casual dining environment filled with personal touch points every step of the way.

Oh man where do I begin? The service and the way we were greeted was just so heart warming. Food was brought out in a rather quick manner, and I’ve got to say (no exaggeration) it’s the best pizza I’ve ever ate in all of Southern California! The garlic bread knots was so good, aside from the water I got an IPA which was really tasty, my other companion got a drink with basil I believe, forgot the name of it but it was good too! Truly Pizza Truly serves the best Pizza ever!

Everytime I’ve made a reservation here they are always running behind and don’t seat us until 30 min it es after our reservation. The service was so slow and waited 15 minutes to finally be greeted by our service to just get waters….. server forgot my friends drink and finally brought it out once our pizza came. Server never checked back with us after our food arrived and then we were done. Cute place but not worth the hype

Excellent food from starters to salad to pizzas. Reese and Taylor were wonderful servers. Look forward to visiting again.

The food was excellent as always, the only flaw was our server, a couple of us ordered lemon with our drinks that she confirmed when she took the order, but when the drinks arrived there was no lemon. We thought she’d bring it on another trip, but she didn’t. When our appetizers arrived I again asked for our lemon, she returned, but with only lemon for one of us. When food arrived we asked for ranch dressing on the side and some cheese and red chili pepper. We only got one side of ranch then she took off. When we waved her down we asked about the cheese and red chili pepper, more ranch, and some hot honey. This time she brought it all. Other than that, it was an excellent meal.
