Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was very tasteful and in my opinion, worth the price. The ambiance in the restaurant was perfect for a date night or anniversary celebration. Very romantic! This was my first time trying Truluck’s and I will definitely be back!

This is our second time to dine here and both have been amazing. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Great server! Professional, knowledgeable super friendly and made the experience great! Good was terrific! Top notch! We will be back!!

This was my second time eating here, the first was phenomenal, however this time was not good at all. The reservation was made for Fathers Day on opentable and the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived so checking in and seating was great. The service started out attentive however as time went on, it became slow and inacurate orders, etc. We started with mimosa which was good (we went during brunch). Then we ordered bread and the cauliflower meal as an appetizer. The bread was cold and was not fresh. The cauliflower meal was okay, could have been seasoned more. Then after requesting to see the item trays which showcased the lobster, crab legs, etc. I opted for the african lobster and my man ordered the rockfish. The lobster was horrible, spiny and chewy which is a no-no for lobster. I also forgot to mention that our booth was dirty, there was a candy wrapper on the floor and something spilled on the seat. When this was brought to the managers attention, he apologized and informed that they were getting another contractor for cleaning. However he was not customer friendly or oriented as I had to inquire what was going to be the remedy, an apology falls far short of a full remedy for this situation. He then offered to clean it or move us to a new table. Later he also took the bread and the lobster off the bill and paid for one dessert for us. This in my opinion still fell far short of optimal service at this fine dining establishment. The sides we ordered came out wrong and the waitress was a bit off as the time went along. One thing she was a nice lady and did bring me my shades that I left on the table but I believe more training would assist in bringing her service to standard. Overall, I would not return here based on the experience not being so great and the prices/expectations of a high experience and fine dining establishment.

Great service ,good wines, fine King Crab but having dry trout fish that felt as if it was pre cooked and warmed up?At least they had the decency to take it off the check...

Anniversary dinner was a hit! Franklin was very knowledgeable of all food items, but seemed robotic at times…very polished but not much warmth in his delivery or table interactions. We would definitely return as everything we had from the lobster bisque, PARKER HOUSE STYLE ROLLS, Rockfish ponchartrain, to the salmon! In fact, we’ll be back for Father’s Day in a few days. 😀

The service Giovanni provided was excellent. The cuisine and beverages were outstanding. Our party of 7 all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Especially the rising high school freshman who celebrated her middle school promotion. Thank you.
