The server was awesome- he was from Jamaica and so friendly! The food was amazing- so good! I loved the guacamole with lump crab and the fried plantains- will try to re create it @ home! The scallops were so tender! The baked Alaska was delicious treat!! We would recommend this for sure!

Great experience as usual. Our server Franklin was EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable of the menu. Suggested gluten and dairy free options. TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere was perfect for a couple/date night. I had the crab cake and was a bit disappointed. Being from MD, the Washington area my whole life, I was ready for a nice lumpy yummy crabcake. It was flat and round and was a bit mushy. It was tasty but I was expecting better. My husband had the seared tuna and he said it was good. We had a wedge salad and the lyonnaise potatoes which were both very good. It was our anniversary, so they gave us a complimentary Baked Alaska which was a nice end to the meal. I would return but would try some of their other dishes.

The service at Truluck's is exceptional. My husband and I went for our anniversary and requested their rolls topped with parmesan cheese...delicious! We split a wedge salad. I ordered the premium king crab (it came with a nice warm butter) and my husband ordered the lamb chops. They were a little overcooked, but very flavorful. The gravy served underneath the lamb chops was a let down, but the Baked Alaska dessert made up for it! The live piano music provided a very nice atmosphere. We were visiting in DC and will look for Truluck's in our future travels.

I went to Truluck’s for my birthday dinner. I was disappointed in the service. Our waiter disappeared for so long I had to wave down two different waiters for service. I ordered the sea bass, it was flavorful. My friend had the branzino and it was bland. The mashed potatoes were cold. The best dish we had was the spinach and calamari. This will be my first time, last time at this restaurant.
