Blake was gracious. Rudy the waiter was knowledgeable and attentive, if a bit too convincing. I ordered too much, ate too much, drank too much, and I blame Rudy. The steak, bisque, caviar, and white fish were incomparable.

This was my second visit to Trulucks. The first time impressed me so much that I had to come again. Dinner was divine!! The service was impeccable. From the hostess to our waiter Rudy (an absolute delight and so welcoming and personable, everything was outstanding. My dinner companion had never been and he was impressed to the point of wanting the general manager's card and event planner's info as he would love to have a work dinner here. Absolute must try. I will be back again and again!

Food was very good, service was slow and not attentive enough. Not due to the waitress who was working her tail off. They load too many tables on each server (perhaps short staffed last night) and required server to do many task like finish and garnish drinks. Heat was cranked up too high where I was sweating. I’d give Truluck’s another try.

This was a great spot for a nice date night. There was live music being played and the singer was incredibly talented- the volume of the music was perfect, too. We had the ahi tuna tartare and lobster bisque, scallops and steak. All were very delicious, the steak was just a bit too salty but still very good. The key lime pie and malted chocolate cake were incredible. Dress nicely- it's an upscale spot. Great value for the money. Would definitely recommend.

My second visit to this restaurant while visiting a friend in Chicago. Very different vibe this time, because it was very busy. As a result, the noise level in the restaurant was excessive. It doesn’t help when other guests decide to yell at each other, adding to the clamor. Last straw is the fact that some boss decided to pipe the music from the pianist at the bar into the dining room, making conversation very difficult. Our server was attentive but was way over worked in terms of numbers of tables, so there were long gaps between her visits to us. Note to self -don’t go back on a Saturday night. Food was excellent btw. Too bad the rest of the experience diminished that.

Our server was excellent, the food and drinks were great, and the ambiance was beautiful! It's a great place to go for a special occasion and celebrating my husband's birthday there was very fun and memorable!
