I've liked Truluck's for years and was excited to host my birthday at the Plano location. Our serve Jamie was awesome and very personable. I was very surprised at how poorly the espresso martini was made here - do not recommend it. Jamie was quick to replace it with an Old Fashion that tasted incredible. Ordered: Rolls - 7/10 Tuna Tartare - 9/10 Seared Ahi Tuna (6oz) - 5/10 - this was the reason I chose Truluck's and was quite underwhelmed at how the Ahi Tuna turned out this time around. The mashed potatoes came out cold and the tuna which normally melts as you eat it, did not come out nearly as good as I am used to. Steak Frites - 8.5/10 Meatballs - 7.5/10 Overall it was a great time and good ambience. Jamie was awesome as well. I would come back but may be turned away from the seared ahi tuna going forward, which was the prime reason I eat at Truluck's.

Wife and I went for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Outstanding food, even better service! Definitely in our top 5 restaurants we have eaten at in DFW.

We had the trout almondine and the breaded fried lobster. It was fantastic. The best part of the evening was the baked Alaska. So good.

Longtime Trulucks fan, must say a bit disappointing this time. I LOVE a great martini 🍸 which Trulucks has consistently delivered until last night, underpoured and no frost on the pond. The crabcake was delicious 😋 The ambience and staff are amazing as was the trout and sea bass. However our sides were cold, not even warm ☹️. We let the staff know and hopefully our next visit will render a more satisfactory experience.

As with every Truluck’s I’ve been to. A perfect evening. Dutch, BJ, and Jaime are a winning combination to a wonderful evening. And the jumbo stone crab are exquisite. I think I need about 20 more visits to try to figure out the recipe for the dressing on their Wedge salad.
