    We celebrated another life milestone here and the service, food and atmosphere were all perfect! We will definitely be going back and Chris was one of the best waiters we have ever had the pleasure to meet and dine with.

    I’ve been to alot of trulucks in texas and Florida . This one was by far the slowest service . I asked for sides like dressings and utensils and never got them. I had to walk to the hostess to get them. Then to top it off I had to walk across the room to the bar so I could pay the tab because we’d nearly been there for two hours or more. This was at 9 pm on a Saturday so it was dying down

    Our server Jordan was fantastic and Keith from the valet was awesome & took photos for us! We loved the food and atmosphere.

    I chose Truluck's (Plano location) to celebrate my birthday (4:00 p.m. reservation). The restaurant is beautiful, and the food was very good. I have a small appetite, so I ordered from the Tru Ninety-Two menu which is a great value and offered until 6:00 p.m. When I asked the hostess to bring more TRU Ninety-Two menus as others were interested in ordering from this as well, she replied, "I am only allowed to let you have a maximum of four menus per table (there were seven of us)." My food selections included the lobster bisque which was absolutely delicious and the 6-ounce filet mignon. I ordered my steak medium with instructions for it to be prepared warm pink in the middle and it was medium rare. Another person at our table ordered the six-ounce filet mignon medium rare and it arrived well done. While the dining experience overall was a wonderful time of celebrating with our family, I would recommend that the service be improved. I dine out regularly and customer service is everything. I do not like to ask for my drink to be refilled - the server should automatically do that. There was an air of unfriendliness and not amazing customer service which we have always received at the downtown Dallas location. Note to restaurant management - make each guest feel valued and special, even if they do not order alcohol and even if they order from the TRU Ninety-two menu. Remember, even if the bill is not quite as high, if you provide outstanding customer service, your tip will reflect the outstanding customer service received, and you will have repeat customers).

    The service was amazing. Kind over the top friendly. The restaurant was super fancy and high end which isn’t my favorite experience but it was well done. The food was great too. The raw oysters were outstanding, the lobster bisque was creamy and delicious the fresh cracked pepper was a great addition and the amount of lobster inside was plentiful. Fried lobster tails, Sea Bass and Lobster Mac and Cheese were all exceptional as well. The drinks are a little over priced and not as on point as the food but overall we would return

    We went to Trulucks for New Year’s Eve dinner. I specifically picked this restaurant because they offer lobster themador. Guess what, after seating us way back in the overflow room (felt like we were in another restaurant) our waiter (who was very nice) informed me that they weren’t offering the lobster thermador for NYE. Great. Ok I had the filet which was excellent. I did order a bourbon and coke and my waiter brought me a glass of straight bourbon. Ok, bring me another glass and a coke. Bottom line the meal was fine. Just not what I wanted.

    The stone crab claws were a big hit. So much so that two of the four in our group had them for an appy and entree with a salad. The petite lobster tails and the shrimp and scallop dishes were both excellent. The service was impeccable and the NYE hats at the table were a nice touch.
