No sparkling water, waited for our server a long time after dinner, did not get a chance to reorder a cocktail or anything else. Amazing food, amazing cocktails, amazing dessert!

What an amazing Friday evening dining experience was for us ! Our African lobster tail was succulent and sweet enough to share with two friends, accompanied by smoked Gouda and bacon Mac and cheese that was delicious. Our chocolate cake with beautiful chocolate sauce scrumptious. Our waiter Victor made our evening even more special by taking very good care of us through our dinner!

One of the best dining experiences. Our waiter John was knowledgeable, attentive, and just wonderful. The food was cooked to each persons liking perfectly and each bite was a moment.

Very very poor. We booked to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. We were kept waiting ages for our table because the previous guests who should have departed had not so we were kept waiting. We often have a great server there but she was not working that night and as often happens we had a different server - usually always great servers who make that extra difference. Sadly our server was disinterested and unhelpful. We waited about 20 minutes to place our order for food having placed the drinks order and requested bread service. No bread came. Eventually we ordered and requested bread again which came out a few moments before the appetisers. We asked for salt and pepper - none came. We asked for cracked pepper which came with an eye roll!! Entrees came, requested salt and pepper which came this time. Entrees were warm not hot but our server was nowhere to be seen. We asked another server for cracked pepper and after a wait our server came to the table and dramatically pointed to the salt and pepper and said quite unpleasantly there’s the pepper. No we said we would like cracked pepper and again the eye roll. The cracked pepper came a good 5 minutes later and by now the pleasure had gone out the meal. All four of us are regular guests at Trulucks and have never experienced such poor service. The table was cleared and reset with small plates and spoons and our server returned with a baked Alaska as a gift for the anniversary couple - it was delicious. We were not offered the ability to order coffee. We decided to leave and we asked a different server for the check - our server was nowhere and by now the restaurant was fairly empty. A further 10 minutes went by so we got up and asked to pay at the Hostess stand rather like being in a diner! A manager appeared and we told him about our experience which he blamed on their new payment system completely not understanding the total lack of service we had received during the meal. We won’t be rushing back.
