We celebrated my wife’s birthday and the entire experience was phenomenal! The service the food, the atmosphere the way they treated us like royalty! I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or just a good meal!

My family and I had an absolutely amazing experience at Truluck's in Miami, FL. The entire experience from top to bottom was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, and we dine out a lot. We took my college kid here for family weekend and from the very beginning the experience was beyond expectations. I had been to Truluck's twice before and also had amazing food and service. I did not think they could step up their game anymore but they did. Our server Ricky was awesome. You definitely want to be in his section, although I am sure every server is fantastic. Ricky delivered the perfect amount of attention and provided the right amount of space. He knew exactly when to stop over and when to let us just be a family. He paced everything tremendously well and his relaxed demeanor made the whole night's vibe feel like a warm, intimate gathering. The supporting staff was just as perfect. They were in and around but it never felt like they were hovering. They supported Ricky spectacularly, like a well orchestrated dance. As luck would have it we also spoke to the manager, Jesús who provided wonderful advice on desert. He suggested the carrot cake as the finishing course. I was truly suspect (how could it be) but he nailed it. It was likely the best carrot cake I have ever had. I would go back just for that alone. In total we had the wedge salad, filets, stone crab (amazing even out of season), crab cake, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, chocolate cake and of course the carrot cake. All were a ten out of ten. The carrot cake may have been an eleven. You could literally not pick a better place to dine out.

Came to celebrate my boyfriend’s 30th birthday. Paola made the experience AMAZING. She was so attentive and kind. Everything we ate was flavorful. Will definitely be returning.

Celebrated 76th birthday with my daughter. Job well done by everyone. Birthday greetings from the hostess , birthday card on the table, excellent service and great food. Compliments to the staff.

Not a good experience at all. As soon as we ordered the food it was at the table the courses came out one on top of the other. I prefer having a leisurely dinner especially when it is fine dining. It was more like a fast food restaurant. We were done eating and paid up in an hour. I am a vegetarian as I appreciate they had two options the pasta was really awful. It tasted and looked like it had been sitting in a pot all day and it was plopped on the plate. The pasta was mushy and over cooked. The sauce tasted like it was from a can not even a bottle. It would be nice if they had put a little effort in creating an interesting or tasty dish. I know people think cauliflower steak is a thing put it is literally a slice of cauliflower and the pasta had something like impossible sausage. It felt really lazy and effortless and a little insulting. My husband is not vegetarian was not impressed with his crab legs or appetizer and was disgusted by my pasta dish. We dine out together all the time and people can usually accommodate both diets satisfactorily.

It was a phenomenal experience with delicious food and great attention provided by Ricky. My dad was celebrating his 55th birthday, and he enjoyed how special they made the night, offering him not only a beautiful baked Alaska but also an Italian liquor that helps with digestion at the end of the meal. Excellent.
