This was our first time to Truluck’s. Raul was our waiter and he was excellent. Stone Crab was excellent. We were here for our 48th anniversary and everyone made us feel special. Thanks, we will be back soon.

My server was so sweet but honestly I loved the host she hugged me and I love her now she made my experience so much better! The food was delicious! I really am so happy I visited this restaurant for my bday, they made me feel like a vip and as someone visiting Houston for the first time I am really impressed! I will definitely come back here again for another special occasion!

Excellent experience, excellent service, excellent food. We were hosted by Jeffrey Aranda, who made our evening a memorable event. His recommendations were all very helpful and his service was Michelin Stars material.

We've been dining at Trulucks on Westheimer for decades. This was our first bad experience. We started dining in the bar area to enjoy the live music a couple of years ago. The bar servers have always been exceptional, the cocktails are great and the food great too. However, the bar was packed with 2 VERY LOUD tables so we moved. However we still couldn't hear each other (4 of us total) sitting at a small round high top) because the music was turned up so loud. The worst part was the servers. It seemed as though the entire staff changed and we're not very attentive. We were re-seated at a table that didn't wasn't set up. We waited for about 20 minutes then asked the server if we could get silverware and napkins since the bread service we'd ordered had arrived. We had to flag her down for everything. Brandie, our favorite bar server, has been there for years and is always an excellent server, on top of everything as well as others we've had but not on this visit. We sure hope Brandie just had the night off and the regular bar servers will be back very soon.

The food was excellent, I had the tuna tartare appetizer and the Branzino. Our service was great. The only downside was that the bill was very high, this is really for special occasions at these prices.
