Start with a seasonal soup or salad before the main event: our Herb Roasted Turkey Breast with all the trimmings, including mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, & cranberry apple compote. Just be sure to save room for the dessert course. Choose from our famous Carrot Cake or Pumpkin Cheesecake and finish dinner with a decadent flourish. In the mood for surf and turkey? The meal was exquisite. And lobster Thermidor on the menu was quite a nice surprise. I haven’t had that since 1980! The ribeye was cooked to perfection and was a delightful compliment to the Thermidor. The wine selection was also exquisite. I will frequent this restaurant living just up the street from there, and having such an exquisite restaurant to frequent is a welcome change from always having to eat on Las Olas. It was also nice to see that the dress code was elegant and not sloppy. Which again is something we haven’t seen since the 80s and 90s.

Richard ( our server ) was amazing . You would’ve thought he owned the restaurant. Such a great service. We went for my daughters birthday and he made it very special.

Great service and selection of food. The fish mains were all wonderful. This time had the sea bass and it was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection . Wine recommendations were also spot on. We will definitely return on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale!

We love this place and usually have excellent service and food. This was our first negative experience here so do keep this restaurant at a high score. This time everything seemed to go wrong. Waited 30 minutes for our appetizers (though the waiter did scurry by more than once saying “your appetizers are not here yet? I’ll get on it right away”). The Florida stone crabs were delicious, the beef not so much (dry and not warm). Service was not so good… waiters running by or missing and not responsive. Poured our own wine mostly. Actually, the bus person (Saker or Staker, not sure of his name) was great and handle things for us (instead of the missing waiters). The bill charged us for the $160 caviar though we order the $120 one. 🤨The funniest part was after finishing dinner, we asked if we could finish our wine on the ocean front deck and were told yes, but leave the wine glasses on the premises. (As if after spending $600 on dinner for two, we would steal their $2 wine glasses.) 🤭 Anyway, Saker, the bus boy saved the day again by saying he will show us the way to the fire pit on the deck suggesting it was a perfect spot. It was. Again, though this dinner was a miss… we usually have excellent service and food here.

We have never had a bad meal at Trulucks, it’s top notch food . Our favorites are the lobster bisque, crab, and the Carrot Cake is a must!

Luis and Luis did an exceptional job. Food was outstanding. Crab cake appetizer highly recommended. Caesar salad was amazing. Sammy the wine sommelier is very knowledgeable, and great to talk to. We will be back often.
