Dined here for my husband's birthday. Lovely, elegant and upscale ambiance with nice view of uptown sky line if dining on the 2nd floor. I wasn't thrilled about the long stairs case in heels. Our table had birthday confetti and a card which was nice that they mad it a point to acknowledge. Server Paloma was most professional and took very good care of us. The shrimp cocktail presentation was amazing with large succulent shrimp perfectly chilled. The lobster bisque was to die for, so creamy and flavorful served fresh at the table. I will say be sure to clarify when ordering if you want the petit or full portion if they don't ask. Food came out fresh and timely. But I do wish there was a bit more seasoning or at least salt and pepper on the table. I highly recommend Truluck's especially for special occasions.

We had a celebratory dinner last night with family from Georgia to congratulate them on their recent marriage. The management and staff outdid themselves to ensure it was a very special and memorable experience. Even though we had a mishap on our way to our reservation, (a family member got a flat tire en route to the restaurant) we contacted the restaurant and they were completely understanding and accommodating that we were going to be late. Once we arrived, they had a beautiful table set up for us located on their second level with a gorgeous view of the Crescent Hotel. They also decorated the table with congratulatory confetti which added to the festivities for the newlyweds. The entire staff, from the moment we arrived to the time we left, went out of their way to make this evening very enjoyable for which we are extremely grateful.

We were sat immediately. Our waiter was very informed and so nice. Our food was fabulous. Also we got a corner table. We had a great time!!!

It has been a while since we’ve been to Trulucks on McKinney, and it had a complete facelift. A glass two-story building with valet parking, huge vases of beautiful flowers everywhere, a lighted bar, and very fancy. Not the Trulucks I remember. But, certainly delightful. The large stone crab claws were icy cold, fresh and delicious with the mustard sauce. The miso-glazed Seabass over crab fried rice with jalapeño bernaise sauce was out of this world. A large loaf of parmesan crusted bread with chive butter was such a treat. The finishing touch, Strong coffee with an almond cookie was just right. Pricey, but oh so worth it. We will be back!
